Lineland
You are a 1D critter lost in a 2D world! Everything looks so confusing, and all you have to traverse this strange place is a gizmo that lets you reorient in the 2D plane. Luckily, a sequence of portals will return you to your nice, predictable, one-dimensional home, but they won't stay open forever. Master the second dimension or get stuck here forever!
Use the up/down arrow keys to move forward and backward, and use the left and right keys to rotate your perspective.
This is my submission for the 6th one-bit game jam. It's a very simple concept, but it can feel very counterintuitive to navigate a 2D plane when you can only see a 1D slice of it.

This looks like an interesting twist on traditional gaming, so I'm excited to try it out when it releases! Btw, if you're up for a fun challenge, I'd love to see what you come up with for the WowCube Game Jam: wowcube They have a very interesting platform and are even offering prizes lol
The idea is super cool, wish there was a 2nd level though.
There are 4 levels, but it’s been brought to my attention that you can’t get past level 1 on web! If you’re on Windows, you can download and play it like that. Otherwise I’ll try to figure out why it’s not working and reupload soon.
Ah I see! I may have to try that at some point.
